To establish a thriving Islamic Centre that serves as a beacon of faith, knowledge, unity and service, inspiring and supporting generations to come.
We envision North City Islamic Youth Centre becoming:
A place of worship and spiritual growth.
A centre of Islamic learning and education.
A hub for youth development and leadership.
A welcoming home for reverts and those exploring Islam.
A leading Da'wah Centre dedicated to sharing the message of Islam with wisdom, compassion and understanding.
A gathering place for families and the wider community.
A platform for charitable service and outreach.
A lasting legacy for future generations.
We strive to:
Provide a welcoming and accessible place of worship for all Muslims.
Deliver quality Islamic education for children, youth and adults.
Develop programmes that engage, inspire and empower young people.
Support reverts and those seeking to learn more about Islam.
Promote Da'wah through education, outreach and community engagement.
Foster understanding, respect and cooperation within the wider New Zealand community.
Develop sustainable facilities and programmes that serve the needs of our growing community.
Build future generations of confident Muslims who positively contribute to society.
The mosque is at the heart of our community. We provide a welcoming place for daily prayers, Jumu'ah, Ramadan programmes, Eid celebrations and spiritual development, helping individuals strengthen their connection with Allah and their Islamic identity.
Seeking knowledge is a lifelong journey. We provide Qur'an classes, Islamic studies, educational workshops and learning opportunities for children, youth and adults to deepen their understanding of Islam and strengthen their faith.
Young people are the future of our community. Through mentoring, leadership programmes, sports, educational initiatives and community service opportunities, we aim to nurture the next generation of Muslim leaders who are confident in both their faith and their contribution to society.
We recognise that embracing Islam can be both rewarding and challenging. NCIYC is committed to supporting reverts and those exploring Islam through mentorship, education, social connection and practical support.
We seek to establish a dedicated Da'wah Centre that provides educational resources, introductory programmes, public lectures, open mosque days, school visits and interfaith engagement opportunities. Through Da'wah and outreach, we aim to build understanding, strengthen relationships and contribute positively to New Zealand's diverse society.
Through charitable initiatives, family programmes, welfare support and outreach projects, we seek to strengthen our community and support those in need.
North City Islamic Youth Centre (NCIYC) is currently undertaking a significant development project to establish a permanent home for worship, education, youth development, Da'wah, revert support and community engagement.
Our goal is not simply to build a mosque.
We are building a centre where faith is strengthened, knowledge is shared, youth are empowered, reverts are supported, Da'wah flourishes, families are connected and lifelong friendships are formed.
We believe that every prayer offered, every child educated, every young person inspired and every act of service performed within these walls contributes to a lasting legacy that will benefit our community for generations to come.
Guided by the Qur'an and Sunnah in everything we do.
Serving Allah through service to our community and society.
Bringing people together through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation.
Striving for the highest standards in our programmes, facilities and governance.
Supporting and caring for those in need.
Creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued, respected and supported.
