The North City Islamic Youth Centre (NCIYC) was established with a vision to create a vibrant Islamic hub that serves not only as a place of worship but also as a centre for education, community development, youth engagement, and family support.
Located in the heart of Porirua, our masjid is being developed to meet the growing needs of the Muslim community across the Wellington region.
Through the mercy of Allah ﷻ and the generosity of the community, significant progress has already been achieved.
The prayer facilities, community spaces, classrooms, offices, and supporting infrastructure are steadily taking shape, transforming the building into a welcoming environment for worshippers of all ages.
Provides a welcoming and spiritually uplifting place for daily prayers and Jumu'ah.
Offers Islamic education for children, youth, and adults.
Strengthens Muslim identity and connection to the Qur'an and Sunnah.
