Worship
The mosque is at the heart of our community. We provide a welcoming place for daily prayers, Jumu'ah, Ramadan programmes, Eid celebrations and spiritual development, helping individuals strengthen their connection with Allah and their Islamic identity.
Education
Seeking knowledge is a lifelong journey. We provide Qur'an classes, Islamic studies, educational workshops and learning opportunities for children, youth and adults to deepen their understanding of Islam and strengthen their faith.
Youth Development
Young people are the future of our community. Through mentoring, leadership programmes, sports, educational initiatives and community service opportunities, we aim to nurture the next generation of Muslim leaders who are confident in both their faith and their contribution to society.
Revert Support
We recognise that embracing Islam can be both rewarding and challenging. NCIYC is committed to supporting reverts and those exploring Islam through mentorship, education, social connection and practical support.
Da'wah & Outreach
We seek to establish a dedicated Da'wah Centre that provides educational resources, introductory programmes, public lectures, open mosque days, school visits and interfaith engagement opportunities. Through Da'wah and outreach, we aim to build understanding, strengthen relationships and contribute positively to New Zealand's diverse society.
Community & Service
Through charitable initiatives, family programmes, welfare support and outreach projects, we seek to strengthen our community and support those in need.
North City Islamic Youth Centre (NCIYC) is currently undertaking a significant development project to establish a permanent home for worship, education, youth development, Da'wah, revert support and community engagement.
We are building a centre where faith is strengthened, knowledge is shared, youth are empowered, reverts are supported, Da'wah flourishes, families are connected and lifelong friendships are formed.
